Dhoni
MS Dhoni announced the end of his 16-year international career on 15 August 2020. Dhoni may have ended his international career, but we will still get to see him in the Indian Premier League. A tournament which was somewhat inspired by him.
Dhoni made his ODI debut in December 2004 against Bangladesh, he has received many awards from then and has been unstoppable, he is one of the most loved players with millions of fans, but in 2014 he announced his retirement from Test cricket via social media post and on 15 August announced the end of his international career too.
MS Dhoni retained Rs 15 crore for IPL 2020, Dhoni is one of the most expensive players retained this season.
CEO Kasi Vishwanathan believes that MS Dhoni will be part of the franchise in 2021 and 2022 IPLs. Dhoni has not played any competitive cricket since last year but is returning in this IPL which gave hopes to Kasi.

Tom Banton made his Twenty20 debut in the 2017 NatWest t20 blast on 16 July 2017 and his first class debut was in the year 2018.
Tom Banton is all set to step in the shoes of Chris Lynn who was let go by Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL 2020 auction.
Born on November 11, 1998, Tom was a member in Warwickshire academy, later he moved to King’s college where his master who was himself a former English cricketer recognised his talent and taught him under his own guidance.

R Sai Kishore a 23 year old young talent comes from a place in Tamil Nadu called Madipakkam. Kishore has been bought by CSK. Kishore’s dream came true when he was called back during the accelerated auction process. Though not all the teams were interested in giving the young talent a chance CSK bought him at the base price of 20 lakhs.
From a school topper to today’s highest wicket taker of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, Kishore’s journey was quite amazing, he never thought he’d be a cricketer, he aspired to become a scientist.
Yashasvi Jaiswal
17-year old Yashasvi Jaiswal’s talent was recognized by Rajasthan Royal, Rajasthan Royal bought Yashasvi for 12 times his base price at the IPL 2020 auction.
Yashasvi will play in the Indian Premier League for the first time after he was bought by Rajasthan Royals at the IPL 2020 Auction for Rs 2.4 crore. Jaiswal was listed for Rs 20 Lakh, Initial Bid was done by Mumbai Indians, before Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royal started the bid war for Jaiswal Mumbai Indians.
Jaiswal said that he was very happy and it’s a great opportunity for him to learn and he will learn as much as he can while he is with Rajasthan Royal.
Jaiswal became the youngest-ever player to score a double hundred in List-A cricket
Jaiswal is a part of India’s under-19 world cup team, whose captain was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Shreyas Iyer
Shreyas Santosh Iyer is an Indian Cricketer, who plays for India in International cricket. Iyer has also played One day internationals and Twenty20 internationals for the Indian National Cricket team. Iyer was in the Under-19 cricket team and played for ICC Under-19 cricket world cup.
Iyer was born on 6 December 1994 and is currently 25 years old. Shreyas Iyer was retained by Delhi Capitals, Delhi Capitals purchased 8 players at the auction out of which 5 are international superstars, and others are their star performers who they retained again. Shreyas Iyer was retained for 7 crores. Iyer made his List-A debut for Mumbai in November 2014 in which he scored 273 runs at an average of 54.60.
Shreyas has won IPL 2015 Emerging Player Award. He was first signed by Delhi Daredevils in IPL 2015 at a great price of 2.6 crore which was more than 10 times his base price which was only 10 lakhs. Iyer somehow managed to score 439 runs in 14 matches with a strike rate of 128.36 and an average of 33.76, which made him the 9th most consistent player and emerging player of IPL season 8.
In 2019, Iyer became the captain and scored 463 runs at an average of 30.86. The IPL 2020 is going to be another opportunity for Iyer. Iyer is again the one with the responsibility of leading the team from the front.
